A COMPOSITION IN MOTION
The Experimenta Science Center is conceived as a dynamic composition of several volumes, seemingly stacked and shifted on top of one another. Their overlapping forms create a strong sense of movement, giving the building a distinctive and sculptural presence within the city.
BETWEEN WATER AND INDUSTRY
Set along the Neckar River in Heilbronn, the building stands within a former industrial harbour landscape, surrounded by water and historic industrial structures. Its crystalline architecture creates a strong dialogue between the industrial character of the site, the waterfront and the contemporary city.
GEOMETRY AND TRANSPARENCY
The building is wrapped in a largely glazed façade, combining transparency with a striking geometric pattern. Triangular lines structure the glass envelope, creating a changing interplay of reflections, light and form while revealing glimpses of the activities inside.
